In July, more than a dozen members of the Hub represented the CHEER team at the 49th Annual Natural Hazards Research and Applications Workshop in Broomfield, Colorado.
Nearly a dozen members of CHEER traveled to Baltimore to participate in the event, which had the theme “Research-to-Impact: Building Partnerships to Strengthen Community Resilience.”
Six members of the Hub met in California to present their research at UCLA.
Congratulations to Hub alumna Nyla Howell, who is the 2023 recipient of the Natural Hazards Center’s Annual Hazards and Disasters Student Paper Competition!
Postdoctoral researcher Abbey Hotard is not just a newly minted Texas A&M alum; she is the first graduate of the university’s Marine and Coastal Management and Science (MCMS) doctoral program.
