BIOGRAPHY

Jingya Wang, a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Delaware under the guidance of Dr. Rachel Davidson and Dr. Linda Nozick, is currently focusing on integrating the STARR framework into her research. In addition to her academic pursuits, she chairs the Engineering and Infrastructure Specialty Group at the Society of Risk Analysis.

Dr. Wang earned her Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University in 2023. Her research primarily revolves around decision-making under deep uncertainties and strategies for adapting to climate change. She specializes in making risk-informed decisions to adapt systems to evolving conditions. During her doctoral studies, she engaged in various research projects, including the 50-year 50-billion Louisiana’s Coastal Master Plan. Her contributions were recognized with several accolades, including the Student Merit Award from the Society of Risk Analysis. Furthermore, Dr. Wang has gained valuable work experience in environmental consulting and catastrophe modeling industries.
